kitchen progress

Lots of progress and a little setback. We got the drywall up, and it already looks so nice. However, after much muttering and cutting to fit the base over the plumbing, Phil popped out of the office to help with the counter, and asked, isn't the hole supposed to be over the base?

OOPS. So - the good news is, we don't have to cut the corner of the counter to fit around the beam, and I get a nice 6" shelf at the back of my counter, the bad news is, the plumbing is going to be... interesting. But that's today's story, and is not yet written!
